Arsenal fans bemoan tough start after seeing Premier League fixtures

Championship-winners Wolves begin their return to the Premier League at home to Everton before matches away to Leicester and West Ham bookend the visit of Manchester City to Molineux.

The opening Manchester derby of the season takes place at the Etihad on November 10.

The Gunners will take on the champions at the Emirates on the opening weekend of the season, which takes place on August 11, before then travelling to Stamford Bridge for a London derby in their second game.

Unai Emery has been handed the toughest possible start to his tenure at Arsenal: A match against English Premier League champion Manchester City.

The Premier League announced the fixture list for the upcoming season earlier on Thursday, and it has not been kind to Arsenal.

The reverse fixture could had seen City win the title against their rivals, however a second half resurgence from United saw City lose 3-2 with a Paul Pogba double and Chris Smalling goal overshadowing the first half performance.

During their impressive march to the UEFA Champions League final in 2017-18, it went slightly unnoticed that Liverpool only narrowly finished in the top four in the Premier League.

Fulham's first game back in the Premier League sees former boss Roy Hodgson make the short trip across London with his Crystal Palace side.

However, the Reds are still some way from being a Premier League-winning outfit.

"We are excited about the season ahead and making the new stadium our new home".

Manchester United starts at home to Leicester and plays only one of last season's top six, Tottenham, in its first eight games.

"We had always meant to request a few games away at the start of the season".

Of course, all the above dates and times are subject to change, but as it stands, this is how the campaign will pan out.
