Bethesda announces The Elder Scrolls VI

Bethesda fans have been begging for a new The Elder Scrolls game for years now, and though this is very likely years away, at least we can rest assured that the game is in development, and these guys know just how precious the franchise is to us. Dubbed the "Break-It Early Test Application", this will allow players to go hands-on when the game before it releases. The game will feature co-operative play, and will be set in Paris.

Now in pre-production at Bethesda Game Studios, the acclaimed developers of Skyrim and Fallout 4. Y'know, just in case you want to take your cosplay to the next level. It looks like we'll start playing at Reclamation Day, the day when the Vault actually opens back up to the Wasteland.

We'll have more on Fallout 76 as it happens. According to their explanation, you'll never be instanced with more than a few dozen players, but you can always play with friends, team up with people and build homes and craft. This is a full The Elder Scrolls experience that you'll be able to play on your smartphone, your high-end VR device, and everything in between.

Also, dying in Fallout 76 doesn't mean a loss of progression or a loss of your character.

Meanwhile, Fallout Shelter will have a release on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch - and its going to come out later today. The first announced Starfield, its first wholly original title in 25 years with a teaser trailer.
