Chadwick Boseman won the award for Best Superhero thanks to his role in Black Panther, but he passed it on to someone else.

Other important moment's from the show included the Stranger Thing's cast winning four awards including Show of the Year and Lady Gaga's epic entrance and win for her documentary.

Its star, Chadwick Boseman, won the Best Hero and Best Movie performance while his nemesis Michael B. Jordan was named Best Villain. "You know, I thought for sure Roseanne had that in the bag, you know". Shaw is the courageous man who made national news in April after he wrestled an assault-style rifle away from a gunman at a Tennessee Waffle House.

"I'm just always making music, I've always been that way and I think you see in "Five Foot Two" that I'm a studio rat", the 32 year-old says.

Keeping up with the Kardashians won Best Reality Series. "You can live your dreams and believe in magic".

Showing her leg-brace and crutches she said: "Another milestone in my life, I've never actually broken a bone".

Writer, actor, creator and advocate Lena Waithe was honored with a special trailblazer award at the ceremony, and she took the opportunity to pay tribute to LGBTQ trailblazers of the past (it is Pride Month, after all).
