Cristiano Ronaldo's Idol Has Some Advice For Leaving Madrid

Ronaldo, whose current deal is up in 2021, is said to want wage parity with football's highest earners, Lionel Messi and Neymar, after both stars overtook him with fresh contracts over the past 12 months.

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo with his eldest son. Islam Slimani will be the best chance for Algeria to get something from this match, as his 26 career worldwide goals sit him 4th on the national team's all time scoring list.

They claim that Ronaldo is unhappy with the unfulfilled promises from club president Florentino Perez, and has finally made a decision about his future.

Ronaldo has hinted at a move away from Madrid, despite confidence from those in the corridors of power that he will stay, while Neymar has been linked with a return to La Liga since trading Barcelona for Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2017. We all want Ronaldo to stay and Neymar has our doors wide open.

The Portuguese superstar claimed the fifth Ballon d'Or of his career in 2017, but it is expected that he will one day pass the title of best player in the world to a man who has finished third in the voting on two previous occasions.

Portuguese daily Record affirmed on Thursday that Ronaldo had made an "irreversible" decision to leave the Bernabeu, a story which Goal has confirmed with sources inside the Champions League winners.

"What I can say is that we will do the same [of Euro 2016] fight to the end always keeping hope that in football everything is possible", Ronaldo - Portugal's most capped player and leading scorer - continued. "I don't know when".

Ronaldo has remained tight-lipped regarding his future since casting doubt over his future at Madrid after the Champions League final against Liverpool on May 26 when he spoke about his time at the club in the past tense. "Just after winning was not the best moment".
