Kanye West and Kid Cudi's Kids See Ghosts Samples Kurt Cobain

Kanye West has the music world buzzing right now after dropping not one but two new albums within a week. Kid Cudi returned the favor and appeared on West's album 808's & Heartbreak as well as his recent track "Ghost Town" from ye. Further design specs include a "Kids See Ghosts" spraypainted motif going down the sleeve and the listening event details etched on the upper chest area. The seventh and final track opens with a prominent sample of Kurt Cobain's "Burn the Rain" (from the Montage of Heck companion album). At around 10:45 p.m., music began blaring through loudspeakers as pink smoke blanketed the air, giving off a ghostly vibe that was a likely homage to the KSG album's cover art, created by Takashi Murakami. Most notably, it appears André 3000 worked alongside Boogz, Kanye, and Cudi on "Fire". He's not credited at all on "Cudi Montage" (Kid Cudi, Mike Dean, and Dot Da Genius) or "Reborn" (Evan Mast, Cudi, Dot, and Plain Pat).

West and Cudi have a long history, both positive and negative.

Check out Kids See Ghosts below. KIDS SEE GHOSTS merch including hoodies, T-shirts, blankets, and hats, designed by Virgil Abloh and Murakami, were also handed out to lucky attendees.

Next up for G.O.O.D.'s most prolific month in years, we still have imminent new releases from Nas and Teyana Taylor. 4th Dimension [ft. Louis Prima] 4.
