LAFC's Marco Ureña on Costa Rica facing Brazil: "They're not invincible"

LAFC's Marco Ureña on Costa Rica facing Brazil:

Neymar put his head in his hands after scoring Brazil's second goal in the 97th minute at Krestovsky Stadium, bent over in emotion for a few minutes after the final whistle in St Petersburg on Friday. Costa Rica's only World Cup victory against a team from South America was four years ago against Uruguay.

Neymar told Brazilian media that there was nothing to worry about, and he is expected to return to training on Wednesday.

"I trained well, felt comfortable", Neymar said in the video. Costa Rica have none and crashed out of the competition.

He played the full 90 minutes of Brazil's 1-1 draw with Switzerland, a game in which he became the most fouled player at the World Cup in the last 20 years, but missed training on Monday. Gabriel Jesus started Brazil's opening group game but was substituted out by Roberto Firmino, who was the stronger player and almost scored a late victor from a header.

"I don't know what else we could have done", Ramirez said.

A Seleção controlled the game from start to finish, averaging two-thirds of possession while largely camped in the Costa Rican half.

Brazil only managed a 1-1 tie against Switzerland in the country's first game of the 2018 tournament. Further reviews of match footage revealed that the Brazilian aimed a variety curses at Kuipers and his match assistants on seven different occasions.

"When you win a game like this, as the lights are going down, this automatically gives you peace of mind for the next game because we played a great match today".

Even though it appeared the star embellished, it still must have been frustrating for the man tasked with delivering another World Cup to Brazil.
