Lebron to meet with HEAT and others in free agency

For his overall playoff performance, Durant was named the MVP of the NBA Finals for a second straight season. Game 4 of the 2017 NBA Finals went on to draw in 19 million viewers, the third best result of the five-game series.

The fourth quarter was utterly one-sided as a stunned Cleveland crowd watched in near silence while their team was outclassed up and down the court. The Warriors won, 108-85, to complete a 4-0 sweep of the Cavaliers. But in an elimination game, LeBron had just six field goals and four fouls by the end of the third quarter.

"He told us at the beginning of the year, all that we have to go through. I had emotions that you just don't get an opportunity like this on the road against Golden State to be able to get a Game 1". "It was definitely the toughest from the standpoint that it's the fourth year in a row that we've attempted to get back to the finals". But myself and D-Wade and Bosh, you know, UD (Udonis Haslem), Mike Miller had a few injuries, but (Mario) Chalmers was available, and pretty much our team, we were pretty solid as far as being injury - not being injury-prone.

Gear up, folks. The summer of LeBron is just beginning.

And LeBron James made it clear that, after 15 seasons, he still is in what he described as "championship mode", and his decision on what route to take in free agency will be driven by the desire to surround himself with "cerebral players". James had two MRIs during the series and iced the hand after games. "For a lot of different reasons", he explained in the press conference. They ain't paying me enough to dictate the National Basketball Association.

James, 33, said after the game that he had "no idea" if he had played his last game for the Cavs, with speculation that he could move on when he becomes a free agent next month.

"I wondered if we could hit a switch, some way, somehow", James said. "I don't have an answer for your right now".

"I hope he stays".

James, playing his eighth consecutive finals, scored 23 points, grabbed seven rebounds and passed off eight assists on Friday but fell to 3-6 in the finals for his career.

James said he did not yet know where he would play next season.

As he faded, so too did his teammates - with ESPN commentator Mark Jackson lamenting the lack of effort as the Warriors snatched repeated offensive rebounds.

"To win in a sweep, it feels pretty good", Durant said.

The Cavaliers' lead peaked at a single point June 8.

Take a look at some of the jokes below!

LeBron, and Kevin Love (13 points), helped keep the Cavaliers in contention in the second quarter - which was split 17-17 - before an ugly third quarter signalled what was to come.

The Warriors showed no mercy, with Curry particularly ruthless.
