The three-year-old was dethroned by the Queen's eldest great-grandchild and daughter of Peter Phillips (Princess Anne's son) and Autumn Kelly at today's Trooping the Colour.

The parade, which has marked the official birthday of the British Sovereign over 260 years, brings together over 1,400 parading soldiers, 200 horses and 400 musicians.

"QE2 and her crew busted out their best royal waves for the festivities, which included a Royal Air Force flyover, and a carriage parade of the whole family". Tons of other Royal Family members were also on the balcony, but some were less well mannered than others.

Savannah Phillips was not a fan of his singing.

"I hope that more people like me, not just Sikhs but from other religions and different backgrounds, that they will be encouraged to join the army", he said.

The Duchess of Sussex made her debut alongside husband Prince Harry, in a lovely pale pink two-piece set.

Royal blog Royal Central reports that this is the largest royal family gathering so far this year.

William and Catherine's older children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, enjoyed the spectacle from the balcony, but the couple's third child, 6-week-old Prince Louis, didn't make an appearance. The Duchess of Sussex joins her new in-laws at her first time at the event, which arrives less than a month after her royal wedding to Prince Harry.

The 92-year-old queen, whose real birthday is April 21, seemed vigorous as she keenly observed the event.

Black, grey and white horses, military guards including the Cold Stream and Irish guards in their elaborate dress uniforms and tall fur hats, and two enormous drum horses bearing kettle drums and riders took part in the ceremony, which ran for two hours.
