Paul Pogba's touching tribute to late father during France's World Cup celebrations

Paul Pogba's touching tribute to late father during France's World Cup celebrations

The 25-year-old recently helped France win their second FIFA World Cup title in Russian Federation following their 4-2 victory over Croatia.

Pogba began singing and dancing while having a photo shoot with the World Cup trophy, and started to break into England's famous It's Coming Home, offering a cheeky look to the camera while he did it.

"So many players never had the chance to be a world champion, because their country was not strong enough or because they couldn't help that team enough to make it happen".

"It's about him understanding why he was so good, especially in the second part of the competition", he said.

Paul Pogba might have reached the pinnacle of his career by winning the World Cup this summer, but Jose Mourinho couldn't resist issuing a word of caution to Manchester United's erratic midfielder on Wednesday.

Manchester United are in no mood to sell one of their prized assets and are not expected to entertain any approach for Pogba in the last few weeks of the transfer window.

It is hard to say winning the World Cup is not good for a player's career, I can only imagine it will only be positive.

After excelling against Belgium in the semi-final, Dunphy says Pogba's performance in the final was "superb", getting in on the scoring act in the six-goal finale.

Rami added that he was "incredibly happy" and "still could not believe" that they had won the World Cup.

Meanwhile, Mourinho said goalkeeper David de Gea, midfielder Nemanja Matic and new signing Fred are due to link up with the squad next week. "It's not good for him, for me, for the team, for the (International Champions) cup".

Mourinho claimed he was unsure whether there would be further incomings to Old Trafford before the 2018-19 season gets underway in less than four weeks' time. Me, this evening, I'm not going home. "I really don't know".
