Donald Trump boosted anti-Obama ‘birther’ movement because he’s black: Omarosa

In a tweet, Trump also called Newman - who over the prior two days had provided to NBC audio recordings made in the White House of Trump and his Chief of Staff John Kelly - "crazed" and a "lowlife".

In another recording that Manigault Newman says was taken the next day, Trump can be heard saying he was surprised and disappointed that she was leaving the White House: "Nobody even told me about it ..." She and General Kelly may have completely different pasts, but they have exactly the same future.

President Trump appears to be quite agitated about a tell-all book released this week by former senior adviser Omarosa Manigault Newman.

"She never pulled me aside, never said to me, 'Hey, listen, I heard the president say this and I don't know what to do with it'". She held the positions of assistant to the president and director of communications for the office of public liaison. "And the bottom line is, I can tell you for a fact she was complicit, but she also did the bidding, and she wanted to prove that she was in their camp because she used to be a Democrat. Her legal team will address these matters appropriately as they arise". Before becoming president, Trump himself had a reputation for quietly recording conversations during his business dealings in NY.

When asked to clarify on NBC's "Meet the Press", Manigault Newman said she listened to the recording after finishing the book during a trip to Los Angeles. In the book, she reportedly claims without evidence that tapes exist of Trump using the N-word as he filmed his "The Apprentice" reality series, on which she co-starred.

And her assertion that she saw Trump eat a piece of paper from his desk in the Oval Office: "Well, the hunt for Trump's tax returns just got way grosser". She throws out, for instance, that she "heard" Trump was having a sexual relationship with evangelical leader Paula White.

"Look at her MANY recent quotes saying such wonderful and powerful things about me - a true Champion of Civil Rights - until she got fired", Trump added. "She's not a friend; she's a liar, and I would say she's evil".

On Monday the 44-year-old, once a staunch defender of President Trump, released a recording of what she claims is a phone conversation she had with Mr Trump after she was sacked.

Months after the wedding, Politico reported that Omarosa brought her bridal party of 39 to the White House following her ceremony for a photo shoot in the Rose Garden and West Wing.

"I was not signed to a non-disclosure agreement to hush me up", Lotter said.

Manigault Newman had also worked for Trump during his presidential campaign.

The President's tweet may likely draw more attention to the media circus surrounding Omarosa, as well as the suitability of tweeting about ex-employees alongside matters of defense or foreign policy.

The source claimed: "Melania is exhausted of being quiet and hiding inside the White House".

Omarosa Manigault Newman, the ousted Trump Administration aide and former reality TV star, said Monday that despite his repeated criticism of Chicago's efforts to fight violence, the president has "done nothing" to help combat the problem. To be clear, I never organized a conference call with Jason Miller to confirm Mr. Trump said anything.

In a series of interviews, Manigault Newman has also revealed two audio recordings from her time at the White House, including portions of a recording of her firing by Kelly, which she says occurred in the high-security Situation Room, and a phone call with Trump after she was sacked.
