Meghan's father hung up on Harry in phone row

"But at the moment she feels he needs and bit of space".

In the Mail on Sunday article, Mr Markle said he told Harry: "Maybe it would be better for you guys if I was dead... then you could pretend to be sad", before hanging up on him.

A US source close to the couple revealed to The Sun that, "Meghan loves Thomas and does want to maintain a relationship with him in the long run".

As the only immediate family member on Markle's side to have attended the May wedding, friends of the family say Ragland has "fell in love with England" and "hopes to move over as soon as next month".

Another aide said that Kensington Palace should have personally visited Markle to prepare him for the media before the royal wedding.

My character is a foodie because they know that I'm a foodie. "I want to be her child's grandfather and I want to be near them".

Kensington Palace declined to comment on all the interviews given by the Markles, as well as on reports that it was trying to stop Markle from speaking to the press. "[He said] it would end in tears".

Shortly after that interview, Thomas did yet another interview and delved into detail about a phone call with the prince, saying he was "rude" to him, but admitted it was "absolutely right" to call him out on the quick cash grab.

Meghan Markle's mother Doria Ragland is reportedly heading back to Britain - for good. However, he said: "There is a time and a place to say what he said but not when I'm lying in hospital after a..."

Instead of heeding Harry's warnings, Thomas staged photos showing him being measured at a tailor and researching British landmarks.

They said: "The trouble stemmed from well before the wedding when there must have been an opportunity for Harry and Meghan to pay a private visit to her father". "Following rumours that Meghan and Harry will start a family of their own in the near future, it makes sense that Ragland would want to be much nearer her daughter", Harper's Bazaar wrote.
