Red Dead Online beta players may lose progress

Anyone who plays the game on November 26th will get access on Wednesday, those who played between October 26th and October 29th will be able to jump in on Thursday, and finally, everyone with a copy of the game will have a chance to join the Red Dead Online beta on Friday. Rockstar's other smash hit game Grand Theft Auto 5 has one of the most popular online experiences in recent memory.

When Red Dead Redemption 2 launched last month, it was quickly lauded as one of the strongest single-player gaming experiences ever made. As Rockstar Games announced on Monday, the early access period for the Red Dead Online beta began on Tuesday morning at 8:30 AM ET, but there's a catch - the only people who can play right now are those who bought the Ultimate Edition of the game (which retails for $99.99). As it says, Red Dead Redemption 2 is now is in Beta so it's going to take some time for Rockstar to solve the issues. The potentially bad news for players who don't want to fork out any cash, is that it could take a good while to earn even one bar, as demonstrated by Reddit user UnavailableIDs, via Wccftech.

Red Dead Online's rollout will continue throughout the week until Friday based on when you got your copy/which version you bought. There is a "posse up" option that you can choose from the main menu for Red Dead Online.

Your Red Dead Online progress may not be permanent

If you're having issues with the game in its Beta state, we can't communicate how important and helpful it is to actually use that form and let Rockstar know your issues. Players can create a "Temporary Posses", but once they exit the game the stats will not carry on to the next game session.

The mode is officially live and has been expanding to include more players. You can pull your guns out and aim, you can try to punch each other, but you cannot hurt each other besides through talking trash (welcome to online multiplayer games). One thing that fans have been speculating about is the gold bars in the game. Every kill pushes you up the scoreboard, but watch out: the closer to the top you are, the more points everyone else gets for killing you.

This 0x20010006 error in Red Dead Redemption 2 is a result of online server disconnection.
