Could Antonio Brown be headed to the NFC North for 2019?

Could Antonio Brown be headed to the NFC North for 2019?

But Brown wants a trade and he officially has requested that from the Steelers, per source.

Antonio Brown said his goodbye to Steelers Nation on Tuesday in a very A.B. -like way - on his various social-media accounts with an intricately produced video tribute to himself. Yes, Antonio Brown is trying desperately to force his way off the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Brown has three years remaining on a five-year, $72.7 million contract extension that he signed before the 2017 campaign.

Brown, 30, has been the subject of widespread trade speculation after he failed to show up to work the day before the season finale against the Cincinnati Bengals. However, ESPN reports that cap hit can be spread over multiple years if Brown is traded after June 1.

Brown's no-show at the end of the season followed a reported altercation with Ben Roethlisberger during a practice.

He was drafted by the Steelers in 2010 and has played his entire career in Pittsburgh to this point.

Also on Tuesday, the 30-year-old was found guilty of a reckless driving charge from November stemming from an incident during which he drove his vehicle in excess of 100 miles per hour.

Brown, a four-time All-Pro, is embroiled in a dispute with the Steelers, who openly have discussed the possibility of trading him. The woman did not press charges and police have taken no further action. Last month, two lawsuits were filed against Brown after he allegedly threw furniture from his 14th-floor apartment.
