Eden Hazard relishing Chelsea partnership with Gonzalo Higuain

Eden Hazard relishing Chelsea partnership with Gonzalo Higuain

Hazard and Higuain both scored two goals each in Chelsea's 5-0 victory over Huddersfield Town last weekend.

Chelsea's next game is against Manchester City on Sunday at the Etihad.

Sure, we will lose games and play poorly - all teams can have that happen, but to play with such abject defensive wanton carelessness is a crime against all that Chelsea stands for.

'He is very useful for Eden. They speak the same language with the ball, and so I think Gonzalo will be very important for us for this. "He's an old man [60, meaning experienced] but the way he thinks is the same way I think about football".

'He needs confidence first of all. Something dramatic needs to be done now and that means a coaching change.

"Also when you see the Belgium squad we have a lot, of course, Belgian players but some from Congo like (Romelu) Lukaku, (Michy) Batshuayi and (Christian) Benteke". Kante has been deployed further forward compared to previous seasons, and although this has brought him more goals, he is unhappy at being dislodged from his favoured holding position by recent signing Jorginho.

Hazard has spent the last six-and-a-half years at Stamford Bridge, but the playmaker has been heavily linked with a switch to Real Madrid with less than 18 months remaining on his contract.

Higuain's only season under Sarri at Napoli was such a success that he described his coach as like a father. As you saw in the last match, Eden passed the ball very often to Gonzalo. He reacts very well to difficulties. "I am proud to be here and hope to perform to the best of my ability".

"I hope to recapture my true form with Maurizio Sarri and Chelsea". It's a wonderful club with a wonderful stadium and it is really a fantastic experience.
