Man United's Martial can score 20 goals a season, says Solskjaer

"My job is to try and make the players perform better, but we are all in it together".

Mostly deployed in a wide role, Solskjaer has revealed the 23-year-old wants to play centrally - a position now occupied by Marcus Rashford.

They are United's star men, the showmen and the shot stopper.

"I don't think anyone grows up wanting to be just a striker nowadays". Based on those trends, the club has to feel good about getting something here, but playing down to competition on the opposite end as been a problem. He brings balance, calm, stability, vision and a huge physical frame.

"I am always in the position to tell United who they should look at, and that will continue after the summer if I'm not still here", he said.

"It's about finding players with the right Manchester United identity and DNA". That only is a positive thing for me and all of the other players.

His impact off the pitch has also been impressive. A lot of them want to play through the middle.

United's midfield three is settled with Matic as the most defensive, the ever tenacious Herrera and Pogba, yet at Leicester Matic was often in a more advanced role.

"He's a fantastic finisher, he needs to get more chances".

Marcus Rashford heaped praise on Paul Pogba's abilities as a playmaker after the duo combined to give Manchester United a 1-0 win at Leicester City.

Even when he did receive a booking for dragging back Ricardo Perreira he showed his sporting spirit by shaking the Portuguese's hand by way of apology.

Leicester began brightly in the East Midlands with Wilfred Ndidi sending a glancing header off target, but United quickly began to assert themselves and Rashford somehow failed to score with a header from inside the six-yard box after meeting Luke Shaw's cross.

The Englishman was set up by a fine ball from team-mate Pogba, who capitalised on Ricardo Pereira's poor clearance.

According to Metro report, Frenchman Pogba cropped an injury against Burnley on Tuesday, while Martial suffered a self-inflicted injury at training and was not part of the matchday squad that battled to a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford. And when it comes to losses, the team was defeated by Cardiff City, Southampton and Newport County (FA Cup).
