Tfue Reveals The Main Reason Fortnite Streamers Are Switching To Apex Legends

Helping boost "Apex Legends" success are popular streamers such as DrDisrespect (3 million followers) and Ninja (13 million follower), who have been streaming the game.

Apex Legends has been an early smash hit for EA Games, and now the company hopes to make it even more popular by bringing it to Android and iOS.

Apex Legends is only a week old, though you wouldn't know it considering it has scored 25,000,000 unique player accounts and over 2,000,000 players have been online concurrently, both numbers setting new records.

The free-to-play game had reached one million concurrent players, and 10 million players over its initial 72 hours after launch last week.

In case you've missed all the news about Apex Legends over the last week: it's a new free-to-play battle royale made by Respawn and published by Electronic Arts.

Apex Legends is now available for free on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

"We are looking at how to take the game to mobile and cross-play over time", Wilson confirmed during a recent EA earnings call. Though EA's financial results over the last holiday season were disappointing (in part because of Fortnite's popularity), Pachter expects Apex Legends to contribute $100 million to EA's revenues in its next fiscal year. It's also become a fixture of Twitch and YouTube, although that's also been true of other titles, most of which then faded into near-obscurity as many content creators moved back to games like Fortnite. "I mean that's the only reason I would play Apex". Not too shabby for a game that is just a week old - it was released on February 4 - and now has the likes of Dr Disrespect, Ninja, and Shroud among its star players.

Respawn and EA have revealed a year one roadmap for Apex Legends, outlining when the first four Battle Passes will be launched. Take-Two was off more than 4.6 percent at $89.29. The new title released by EA Games has managed to attract a very large number of players. Why?

So, the question that is on everyone's mind, is Apex Legends really "the Fortnite Killer"?
