Tom Brady as Thanos is the Internet's new favorite Super Bowl meme

As the Super Bowl neared, those championing Kaepernick only began to get louder.

Cardi B has revealed that the only way she would have performed at the Super Bowl after she boycotted it was if "her friend" Colin Kaepernick was brought back.

With Super Bowl LIII underway, movie studios are due to unveil new TV spots and trailers for various 2019 films. However, there are more than 3,000 counties nationally and none of the others can claim this distinction.

Several cultural and sports icons also appear in the ad, including female youth football player Sam Gordon, veteran sports broadcaster Beth Mowins, the NFL's first female official Sarah Thomas, and popular Fortnite gamer Tyler "Ninja" Blevins.

On game day, Rihanna posted this portrait of Colin Kaepernick, who has faced major pushback from NFL owners over his protests during the national anthem. "I spoke to many people, most importantly though, I silenced all the noise and listened to myself, and made my decision about how I felt". It's really hard for him. "Thank you for your sacrifice for us!", he wrote. "But there's a man who sacrificed his job for us, so we got to stand behind him".

It's been nearly three years since Colin Kaepernick has played in the league, but his message can still be seen and heard from the people who have his back.

In an interview with the Associated Press, the Grammy-nominated rapper revealed she had been offered the gig and had "mixed feelings" about turning it down. She is hosting a party this week and will also appear in a Super Bowl commercial. No more! Not watching anymore.

"I was a super fan, and have so many friends in the league, but I just can't support a product that has done this". "I'm changing the things I can not accept.' Dr. Angela Davis", Common tweeted, as well as posting two photos of himself with Davis, who wore a Kaepernick jersey personalized with the #ImWithKap tag. Need to find something black-affirming to do while it's on.
