Apple's Netflix-challenging streaming TV service to launch at March 25th event

In addition to that, it was also rumoured that Apple will be announcing its TV streaming service through this event which is apt given the teaser. Apple usually launches products and services in the month period after the event.

Apple would be holding an event on March 25 at the Steve Jobs Theatre at 10 am Pacific Time. The invite includes a video that shows the Apple logo below the spotlight with a caption "Its show time".

CoinX tweeted some vague details of the new iPads this morning.

If Netflix and Amazon were not enough for you, Apple is set to join the league of video streaming services. The report also mentioned Apple is in talks with various celebrities for attending the event celebrities like Jennifer Anniston, Jennifer Garner, Reese Witherspoon and director JJ Abrams.

The video service, which is created to rival offerings from Netflix Inc. and Inc., will couple Apple-developed or funded TV shows and movies with the ability to subscribe to content from providers like Starz, Bloomberg News reported last month.

Rumors suggest that Apple will pitch its video and magazine services as separate entities with separate prices, but it could offer a bundle that offers, say, both services and an Apple Music sub at a cheaper price. Previously, the company has launched the iPhone SE, the budget $329 iPad and the 9.7-inch iPad Pro.

Also at the March 25 event, rumors are rife that the company might reveal a news service, which would also line up with its acquisition of news subscription aggregator Texture.
