Cohen: President Trump made racist comments about black people while visiting Chicago

"That someone would actually use a prop ― a black woman, in this chamber, in this committee, is alone racist in itself", Tlaib said before being interrupted by Meadows, who demanded that her comments be stricken from the record.

Several Democratic female lawmakers on the panel questioned Meadows bringing Patton to the hearing, but the situation grew intense when Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib claimed Meadows' tactic was racist.

"I think she should be commended for her extreme leadership, for her work in the HUD organization, the administration", said Tlaib.

Sophia Nelson, a political strategist who once served as GOP counsel for the House Oversight Committee, lamented Patton's decision to appear with Meadows.

Two additional videos from that time have seen been unearthed showing Meadows making similar comments about sending Obama "home".

Meadows would not say Thursday if he regretted bringing Patton as his guest to the hearing.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) has been trouble since the day she took office - she infamously screeched, "We're gonna impeach the motherf**er" hours after she was sworn in as a member of Congress, vowing to take down President Trump.

Patton, who has been a longtime friend of the Trump family and is a regional administrator for the Department of Housing and Urban Development, said the president is colorblind. "There's nothing more personal to me than my relationship-my nieces and nephews are people of color-not many people know that", Meadows said. "How do you reconcile the two of those?" From his company's discrimination against Black potential renters in the 1970s in New York City to his divisive and racist comments that labeled Mexican immigrants as criminals to his refusal to acknowledge that President Barack Obama is a native born United States citizen.

"I've said it before and I'll say it again".

"This is the smoking gun that says exactly what African Americans lost in this election", said Maudlyne Ihejirika, a reporter for the Chicago Sun-Times. She added, "I was not referring to you, at all, as a racist".

"In the meantime, congressional Democrats are allowing Michael Cohen, a convicted liar, to testify against Trump publicly whilst the president is in Vietnam for a very important meeting with North Korea's leader Kim Jong Un to continue denuclearization talks", said Laila. I wanted to hear from him himself to explain, to have a thoughtful conversation", Lemon said, "but he went on Fox News with Sean Hannity tonight.

"Today a race card was played", Patton wrote.
