Singer R. Kelly’s girlfriends say parents are lying for money

The woman said she was assaulted at a hotel in 2001 and had an abusive relationship with R. Kelly for years.

"Well, first of all, I'm not here to talk about my personal life And I would never share with no one what I do in or outside of the bedroom", she said.

The victim said she was visiting her mom and made contact with Kelly's assistant. "People was connected to my account", Kelly, 52, told King, before adding that he went by himself to the bank to sort out issues only about a month ago.

Attorneys for both women's families say Kelly is controlling their daughters.

Clary's parents have not responded to their daughter's claims yet, however, in a press conference on Wednesday, an attorney for Savage's parents denied they ever received money from Kelly. He also said she wouldn't look him in the eye when they spoke recently.

Savages' family also reportedly accused the singer earlier Wednesday of shielding their daughter from them.

The family of Kelly's other girlfriend, Joycelyn Savage, is also planning to speak with investigators and provide plane tickets, text messages, and photos as evidence.

Over the next four years, the woman said she visited Kelly at his Atlanta home, which is where he allegedly gave her the sexually transmitted virus.

It's the first time that Kelly's offered up a one-on-one interview since Lifetime aired Surviving R. Kelly.

The R&B singer was taken into custody Wednesday after telling a judge he could not pay $161,000 in back child support.

He was whisked away directly after appearing in a Chicago courtroom to dispute his child support payments According to TMZ, Kelly will remain in jail until he pays his child support in full.

R. Kelly, born Robert Kelly, returned to Cook County Jail on Wednesday, according to inmate records. "I just kept thinking "Okay, Robert, go ahead" and that's what I said".

The special will include never-before-seen parts of that 80-minute sit-down with Kelly and of the interview with the two women living. Last month he was arrested and charged with a list of sex charges, including the abuse of underage girls.

He has pleaded not guilty to 10 counts of aggravated sexual abuse.

The singer said "a lot of it" is on him in terms of his finances, but he denied that his money had been drained by out-of-court settlements over allegations of sexual misconduct. You know, I have nothing against none of these artists, but I think it's not professional for them to do that because something like this can happen to any artist.
